Undercover Boss – GoodLife Fitness S1 E8 (Canadian TV series)

COO of GoodLife Fitness Jane Riddell enjoys making a difference in people’s lives through fitness. From coast to coast, one in every 45 Canadians is a GoodLife member. Creativity and new programs for member and employee retention are necessary to be competitive in the gym crowd. Without this, profitability could flounder. Jane immerses herself in the gym scene to gain new insight. As an undercover boss, she works as a Zumba instructor trainee, a maintenance worker and salesperson, whose competitive skills may not be up to snuff. Later, when she witnesses employee dedication wavering, she must exercise her covert operation skills.[11]

  1. Use to love Good life but they're getting killed in my city with the other fitness clubs coming in that aren't charging as much for memberships and offer just as good if not better services.

  2. kinda worried about the first dude, it sounded more like "i think you're hot ima keep you close to me", the rest was like that was the least she could do, but then again, still better than hawaii, where u lucky to get a pat on the back and maybe a company picnic, byob and food though

  3. So scripted it hurts to watch lol and 5 grand for school? That’s like a semester! Haha and You guys don’t care about these employees, being on this show is another marketing tool for Goodlife lol

  4. I must say I do like Good Life but they have some serious issues.
If the gym is closing at 7 they turn off the music at 6:30 and start yelling for people to get out.
The music system is turned up so low that you have to strain your ears to know if its on, biggest problem with that is people bring in speakers with rap and Indian music.
Some equipment has never worked properly since day one, cables fray to the point of failure before they are fixed.
The water in the cold dunk is literally green and constantly has floaters.
Mens washroom and change room smells like a sewer.
My gym said they would have an outdoor workout area when they opened and almost 2 years later non.
The B.O. from some people in the gym will make you run in the other direction.
A friend of mine got ringworm from one of the benches.
People are allowed to work out in bare feet.

  5. Can't stand this show, all they do is take a boss put visible cameras on them and put their best employees on camera. All this show does is show how awesome these company's are. How about you put on a hidden camera and see what really goes on.

  6. Wait they never explained a cancellation fee to me… and I agree with most of you… they are bullies and unprofessional I am currently in the process of leaving… can we sue them for not informing members about the hassle with cancellations?

  7. good life is the biggest fuckin scam I've ever seen. they are literally stealing from me. withdrawing money from my bank account on the wrong days and when I try to address it with the manager they just show me my account and say they aren't going to do anything.

  8. So the fat pig lost 5 pounds and knew that she was on undercover boss and she should get compensated for remaining a big girl??? Omg you went from obese to fat you get a jedal… Girl your work at a gym okay???? Get in some REAL shape then come very me a River fuck

  9. You can take the Ls out of Hell but cannot take the L out of Riddell. Go figure. Stopped watching for that very reason. Read the Holy Bible and what God says. That is my true belief.

  10. Pay workers better! They make u that big ass check! Or at least pay 10 a hour in every state. Bs, bs. I just don’t get it. If I were rich with a business, I would give fair wages , not 7.25. I am beyond irritated teachers get low pay, with a 4 year degree.. substance abuse counselor s, etc. inflation has went up and wages haven’t. What family with kids can save for a car making 30 g a year with rent (750-1200/more) cheap car 250; electric 200 plus, food, car ins 180, etc, esp. if u live far out,
I drive 120 miles a day to take fiancé and kid to school, that’s 4 hours driv8ng back and fourth.
Save for a car.. bs. Take a wage drop
