  1. Im a member of PF and is the only one i can go… They got a huge amount of gym in the us… I can park in with my truck thats the only reason…

  2. I don’t lift but I train for XC/Track daily and never had a problem they always encourage me and my feet come down hard when I’m tired making some noise and they don’t seem to care they compliment me and it does have a quiet lunk alarm but the employees never say anything not saying this one is staged but I think some of these are somewhat staged and I do recommend it for all runners it’s cheap and if it’s convenient it’s even better

Was planning on joining I will not be going to any planet fitness facilities thanks for the heads. New subscriber

  4. £15 a month for a gym where u cannot lift ? only do cardio ? cheaper to walk 5 miles a day get same results and u wont get moaned at by staff for wearing a tank top or grunting

  5. So you just go to judge the gym but you just use one machine .so I think the gym is good enough for you

  6. I go every other night. For and hour and a half and I get my heart rate going on an elliptical. Then I hit the weights and target the areas I'm unhappy with and finish with the elliptical again. I've never been to gym in my life but I'm not big. Just un toned. I told a free trainer what I wanted to see happen to my body. He showed what to use and how to use it. And a month in. I've seen real change!! Sorry its not your style but I think it depend on the person. Yes alot of ppl aren't doing anything here. But that's on them. You CAN get a real workout here if YOU put in the effort.

  7. PF is not for everyone. However the way I look at it, is people will always make excuses if they aren't serious about getting back into shape or getting healthier. At the end of the day it's each and every persons own responsibility for their own body and health. If your doctor tells you to stop smoking, exercise and eat healthier or you will have serious health complications or eventually die and you don't listen, and have a stroke, who's fault is that? If you get a membership from PF and they don't provide a PT or uphold any part of their contract then you should either quit and join a gym that does uphold their contract or complain to PF. If you are a serious competitive bodybuilder PF is probably not for you. If you're a power lifter PF is probably not for you. If you only run or walk outside for your cardio and only use free Weights, PF is probably not for you. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink it. More than 90% of everyone who will join a gym, regardless of what gym, will quit before making their goal or never use gym membership more than 2 weeks or not at all. Like anything else in life, PF is one type of gym and if you don't like it or it doesn't fit your needs, then don't join. You wouldn't go to a car dealership knowing you need a Pickup truck, and then buy a toyota camry and complain about it.

  8. I'm a power lifter I love going there eat 5 slices of pizza and workout they don't bother me I hear of planet fitness that do bother people don't understand

  9. I never felt intimidated by people who were more advanced than I was. I felt challenged by them.
I can't understand those who can only workout around those who are at exactly the same level. Where's the chance for improvement?

  10. I'm cool with planet fitness…I go in, zone out, and get a great workout every time. I'm ripped and strong. I'm not a bodybuilder and don't want to be. I see alot of people calling planet fitness a fake gym but they aren't half as ripped and strong as I am….LOL.

? The reason no one is there helping people work out is most of their employees Do Not Work Out! They don't know how to!!! Planet Shitness Sucks! ???

Fuck planet fitness before you sign get a written statement that if they fuck up you can cancel anytime, they have no manager no supervisor at night no one to talk to when it's a problem and if they do talk to you they are not train to fix the problem be cautious. It's not the gym it's the service in a company that are terrible

  13. You can't please everyone. Today my first day and I loved it. The VA charged me $25 everyday I went to rehab. Today I used the same excellent equipment and more for $10 dollars a month.. The VA had no dressing room or showers. I'm not a body
builder and most of the people I saw are ordinary people of all ages. I woke up early and since it's 24 hours I got my workout in early and had the whole day for myself as I am 76 and retired. I don't need a trainer I just need the equipment to stay heart healthy. Use it or lose it so true.

Just admit it most of your own here just where you're going to lose your man card if you go there ive lost 83 pounds at pf.. And gains like crazy. I do wish they had more free weights.

  15. I HATE this place. They harass you! The late fee is more expensive than what you pay every month. You also have to pay about 40 dollars for an annual fee. There is zero customer service. They can treat you any type of way. There is no one to call and you will have to pay. Be warned and he is soo right. No one cares. They just sit at the front and talk to each other. There are little rules that make you feel like you’re in high school.

Everybody stfu about this pizza and bagel bs… Its once a month….
Living a healthy lifestyle and a perticular state of mind. Everyone does not see things the same way. First off if my 70 year old grandmother wants to work out, this is the environment that would be of comfort for them. If a person really want to achieve something whethers its staying active, losing weight, building muscle, building strength, etc.. It will be that discpline and that self controlled state of mind that will keep them. Everyone even the most serious and dedicated people have cheat days. Listen, ya'll have to stop this mess taking shit personal….if you are a body builder ever heard the saying to each its own……sooooo in conclusion leave Planet Fitness tf alone!!!! PERIODT Planet Fitness gonna still be pushing while y'all still hating?????

Not a bad place, really. I've never been "judged" or anything like that. I've never heard the lunk alarm go off, either. The machines are actually very good and hold plenty of weight.

I'm older now so I am not buff anymore but I never went into a gym comparing myself to others. It was all about how I was doing where I could improve. I didn't look at someone starting out and think to myself look at that loser. I think this gym preys on people insecurities. If you show up to the gym and worry about what people think then you aren't working hard enough. I have a Planet Fitness Membership and I like it because it has a lot of machines which is better for me so I don't get an injury. Not everyone is gonna do free weights and that's ok. Like I said focus on yourself and get stronger, slimmer, etc.

  19. I enjoy planet fitness, no it's not for everyone( that's life)… Find what fits your needs and wants. ( that's life also). Sigh

  20. Reuel Blackwell

Nothing wrong with the gym. For what’s its worth it’s a great starter gym. Most who join yes are not going to stick with it. But those who do will benefit just as much as any gym because they are putting in the work. They will eventually grow out and then if you want you can move to more of a testosterone work out gym. If you put in work you get results bottom line!

  21. They have a LUNK alarm?? ?‍♀️? And part of being a ‘lunk’ is carrying a gallon of WATER?? Omg really??! ?? I’ll be sure to make a ‘lunk’ crop top and wear it there ??

  22. Conservative Hippie

Was a member for a month….1st experience…my "trainer" just watched…everyone but the one he was suppose to be watching…i walked out thinking why do they have these people even here… supposedly he was a certified trainer ?
I used a health excuse to have my monthly payments stopped…smh
More people go for training if anything ?

  23. I have no problems at Planet Fitness. I am totally free, look good and feel good. By the way, who the fuck drinks a gallon of water.

  24. I feel like people give PF a bad rap because of the whole judgment free zone thing but it’s really the same as any other gym

  25. The planet fitness in my town doesn’t mess with lifters , bb or powerlifters. Personal trainers are pretty much nonexistent I will have to agree with. Only issue I have is the dumbbells only go to 75lbs. PF statement is hypocritical but my home gym stays clean and they don’t care about the way you dress.

  26. I go to PF. Will likely out grow it eventually. There isn’t a straight bar for bench or squats and dumb bells only go up to 80 lbs.

  27. Had an appointment with one of the trainers for an assessment. Waited 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, while the trainer was standing around talking to gym employees. He had no enthusiasm or concern for my weight loss or training goals.
This gym is for someone who is just starting out or who isn't serious about their weight loss journey.

Providing pizza and bagels are counter-productive to weight loss and training.

  28. Dude, you should stay there for about a year. It doesn't seem your ready for any stage? Stop looking in the mirror at your meat head gym and train, if you can't move 315 for 15 on the bench you ain't ready for prime time. Can you insert your self in a ohearn video? See my point don't be a legend in your own mind.
